We believe that giving is a joyful response to the "radical grace" we have received. It is an act of worship that acknowledges God as the source of everything we have. By giving, we invest in the gospel being told in Melbourne and support the work of Gospel renewal in our city.
Where does my money go?
Your giving goes directly into the life and mission of ICC, supporting the staff who pastor our community and/or coordinate our ministries, as well as the resources needed for our Children, Youth, and Sunday A/V teams. We also prioritize radical accessibility by subsidizing registration fees for camps and events, ensuring that financial circumstances are never a barrier to belonging. As a part of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria (PCV), we maintain high standards of financial accountability and transparency, including a formal financial presentation to the congregation once a year.
Are my donations tax-deductible?
In Australia, donations to the general ministry of a church are generally not tax-deductible. However, if we have specific "Building" or "Compassion" funds that are DGR-registered, these will be clearly labeled during specific appeals.
