Here is what you can expect from our services!
before the service
Our hall opens at 9:00am, and so does our coffee station. Come early, grab a brew, and settle in. It’s a great time to have a warm chat with someone or just relax and listen to the music team as they prepare for the morning.
during the service
Sunday is a time to reconnect with God and one another as a church. We sing, pray, and spend time catching up, but the heart of our gathering is listening to the Word. We believe His Words provides the "Better Story" we all need.
AFTER the service
The community doesn’t stop when the music does. We usually hang around the foyer for a while to keep the conversation going before heading out into the CBD for brunch or lunch together. You’re more than welcome to join us.
How about my children & youths?
We hold our Children & Youth programs in English at our 11:00am service. Check the information below.

children ministry
Our Children Ministry is available at our 11:00am service. Children usually come to worship with their parents at our main service and go their own classes before the sermon starts. Once a month, we also have Children's Talk in the main service to ensure our children feel welcomed and remain an important part of our congregation!

youth ministry
Our Youth Ministry runs weekly at our 11:00am service. Similar to children, they will join the main service for worship and go to their own room for a group discussion session. This will be a safe space for them to explore Christianity, ask questions, and share their stories with one another!
ICC Melbourne is a safe space for your children and youths. All staff members and volunteers in our CYM hold a valid Working With Children Card and have gone through the SafeChurch Training. Find our safety commitment at safechurchpcv.org.au
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear when I visit Sunday?
Think of what you’d wear to a casual Sunday BBQ at a friend’s house – the relaxed, "good food and conversation" kind. Because it’s Melbourne, we always recommend layers in case the weather shifts from a summer BBQ to a winter gale while you’re inside. Ultimately, come in whatever makes you feel comfortable, we’re far more interested in the person than the outfit.
Are you a part of a denomination or a church planting network?
ICC Melbourne is a linked congregation under the charge of Scots’ Church (part of Presbyterian Church of Victoria). Prof Sen Sendjaya is a member of the Scots' Church Session as Elder for the ICC Melbourne. Further information about Scots' Church is available here: http://www.scotschurch.com
Do I need to become a member? If so, what is the membership process?
No. You are welcome to attend ICC Melbourne without ever signing a form. However, we believe that just as a story needs a solid structure, a person benefits from a solid spiritual home. Membership is simply the way you say, "I’m all in. This is my family, and I want to help write this story." We hold membership class twice a year where you can explore what is ICC all about and whether this is the church God provides for you to call home. Check our event calendar here.
How do I get plugged into a small group? How many groups are there?
We currently have over 20 groups meeting across the city and suburbs online and on-site. Whether you live in the CBD or not, there’s likely a group for you. We have groups that meet on different days and nights of the week to fit into the Melbourne schedule. Check the information here.
Is this just for Indonesian people?
Not at all! While we have a rich Indonesian heritage, we are a multicultural community for all nations. Our 9:30 AM service is fully English, and our 11:00 AM is Indonesian.
Where do I put my car?
CBD parking is usually a nightmare, but we’ve got you. Free Parking is available at 161 Collins St. Just bring your ticket to the validation machine inside the church.
