Sunday School Program at ICC Melbourne

Our Sunday school program has four different classes to ensure that the gospel teaching presented in classes can be as contextual and age-appropriate as possible. Acknowledging that children's readiness and developmental stages will affect their faith formation, these classes are arranged based on year level in communication with children's parents and Sunday school class teachers.

Our Sunday School program runs every Sunday during school terms. The program begins at 11am at the main service hall with a combined praise and worship session. Afterwards, the children will go up to level 1 to their respective Sunday School classes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register my kids for the program?

If you are new to ICC Melbourne and you want to register your kids for the program, please feel free to introduce yourself and your kid/s to one of the teachers on Sunday at level 1. If you have been a part of the church and your kid/s are turning 3, feel free to reach out to Kezia, our Children and Youth Ministry Director.

How do I check in my kids on Sunday?

The Sunday School program begins at the main service hall with a combined praise and worship before children go to their respective Sunday School classes. When bringing your kid/s to their classes in level 1, parents are required to check in via the iPad (or if you are new, by writing down your name and phone number on the provided paper). Parents are also required to check their kids out after classes are finished during pick-up.

How do I get more information about the program?

Once you and your kid/s have become a part of the program, you will be invited to a parent-teacher WhatsApp group. Through the group (1) You'll be able to inform the teachers of your kid/s attendance, (2) you'll get updates from the teachers about the class, and (3) you'll receive announcements and information about the Sunday School program (e.g., Parent-teacher meetings, school holidays, children's talk, etc).
